Half-Day Session Theory & Practical
Any Care Worker involved in administering medication should receive training on how to perform the task effectively and safely. Whilst presenting the theory aspect to this subject, we also present different equipment used in this process and work through scenarios.
This session is delivered in a classroom-based setting, with practical elements throughout to enhance the learning experience and offer further real-world knowledge.
We appreciate that some individuals are nervous dealing with numbers and mathematics, so we make this a non-pressurised session and work through the aspects at a level that works for everyone in the group.

This course aims to increase the learners’ awareness of mental health to ensure they are equipped to deal appropriately with the needs of colleagues, family members or service-users who may be experiencing mental health issues.
This course is split into two sections, the first part involves group discussion, trainer presentation, interactive discussions and scenarios. Followed by a practical-based element for the second section.
