Our safeguarding training is tailored to support those caring for and working with adults at risk.  The training is a blend of theory and scenario based group-work.

Course Content: 

  • What does the term ‘safeguarding’ mean?
  • What circumstance can put a person ‘at risk’? 
  • Legislation including The Care Act 2014 
  • Types of abuse that cause harm 
  • Who may be an abuser?
  • Local policies and procedures 
  • Raising concerns

  • Positive Behaviour Management – New to Care
    This course is split into two sections, the first part involves group discussion, trainer presentation, interactive discussions and scenarios. Followed by a practical-based element for the second section.
